The first solo jew's harp record in history, to my knowledge, played by a Grand Old Opry performer.  RIAA EQ inverted and American Records EQ applied.  This shellac record is a piece of history.  My copy has some irreparable damage, if anyone has a copy in great condition, I would be happy to digitize it and return it to you.

A unique artifact from an exiled American communist, this psychedelic record posits the instrument with multiple layers of harps playing simultaneously.  Contributing to more of an atmospheric soundscape, rather than focused on melody or rhythm, the jew's harp played in this record is an excellent deviation from the norm.

A seminal work on the instrument by John Wright, featuring Tran Quang Hai.  Side A contains some instructions for playing and experimental works, while Side B is dedicated to traditional tunes from the British Isles.  A must listen for anyone serious about jew's harp music. 

An impressive album full of traditional Irish music.  Half of the album's tracks include masterful jew's harp playing by Dave, Mike, and John Wright, solo and together. 

The title speaks for itself.  Half the album contains John Wright's virtuosity on the jew's harp.  The other half features his wife's singing and other instrumentals.

A selection of Swiss traditional folk instruments playing mostly traditional tunes. Side A features all jew's harp while Side B focuses on harmonica and other instruments. Particularly interesting are the harp duet tracks #4 and #5.

Only track 4 features jew's harp playing by John Wright, but it is so well played that it warrants a close listen.
